Empowering Women

Let’s talk about menopause—a natural phase in every woman’s life that often comes with its own set of challenges and misunderstandings. While it’s commonly associated with hot flashes and mood swings, there’s a lot more to the story, especially when it comes to vaginal health.

Menopause typically begins around age 50 but can occur earlier for some. The term itself means the time when menstruation permanently stops—‘meno’ referring to the menstrual cycle and ‘pause’ indicating its end.

You’re considered to have entered menopause after going 12 consecutive months without a period. The lead-up to this stage, known as perimenopause, can last anywhere from 2 to 8 years, bringing a variety of changes that are unique to each woman.
